If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
This scripture is timeless.
It is recommended that when we have have found ourselves out of sync with the Lord, we do four simple things and our sins will be forgiven and our land healed. This is the mercy and forgiving nature of the living God.
Four is the number representing solidity…a solid foundation for us to return home, just like the prodigal son.
1. Humble thyself
2. Pray
3. Seek
4. Turn
If these four things are done, then, after God hears, two things will happen.
Two is the number representing separation. Therefore, we will again becomes separated unto God instead of being distanced from him by sin and disobedience, where we found ourselves.
