Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:35

This means, that even though this earth will pass away (2 Peter 3: 9-11) (It was not created to last forever despite many people endeavouring to make that happen), the Word of the Lord — His promises and other truths of His Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)
