Some time ago, a person who thought ‘enough was enough’ murdered America’s foremost abortionist, Dr George Tiller. Who was right, the abortionist or the murderer?
An excerpt from The Post Chronicle, USA, 1/6/09
In Wichita, Kansas, Dr. George Tiller was one of the still remaining doctors who still did late-term abortions despite the outcry of fierce protestors and attacks. He was shot and killed on Sunday while in church serving as an usher. The gunman quickly fled the scene.
“The gunman fled, but a 51-year-old suspect was detained some 170 miles away in suburban Kansas City three hours after the shooting, said Wichita Deputy Police Chief Tom Stolz. Although Stolz refused to release the man’s name, Johnson County sheriff’s spokesman Tom Erickson identified the detained man as Scott Roeder. He has not been charged in the slaying and was expected to be taken to Wichita for questioning.”
Comments George Tiller was a Church going person who probably took communion, and had no problem slaughtering defenceless embryos. In most era’s in history, other than a few despotic periods, he would have been clearly considered a murderer.
His slayer, Scott Roeder, was also a church attending person who saw no problem concocting a plot to murder in his mind and heart, and then finding no further problem carrying out the deed.
Both taking communion in their respective churches with clear consciences, each one thinking he was justified. But God says clearly, “Thou shalt not kill (Murder)”
Therefore, both of them were outside the law and yet both were partaking of the same loaf as their fellow parishioners.
What are we meant to follow, if not our conscience?
Matt 6.33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”
This scripture could possibly be re-read as “…seek you first the Kingdom of God and the laws applying to that kingdom, and, then, all these things shall be added unto you.” Our conscience is not meant to be a free spirit.
Righteousness (or right – ness) is about being right within the kingdom; with the King, His citizens, and, should any matters arise, being in the right, lawfully)
This applies to any kingdom on earth, but also applies to the two kingdoms outside earth – God’s and Satan’s.
Dual citizenship? What is it?
Being a citizen of Australia sometimes means we can enjoy the rights of dual-citizenship, and many Australians do exactly that.
Dual citizenship is the result of the interaction of the laws of two countries. People can become dual citizens automatically or after successfully applying for citizenship of another country.
Examples of ways in which people can become dual citizens automatically are:
a child born in Australia who is an Australian citizen at birth and is automatically a citizen of the country of birth, or citizenship, of a parent or grand-parent, or
an Australian citizen who automatically becomes the citizen of another country through marriage.
Dual citizenship, or kingdom-ship, works on earth between countries by mutual arrangement and/or agreement between those countries or kingdoms.
Dual citizenship arrangements also apply between God’s Kingdom and the earthly kingdom in which we live.
Matt 6.3 Jesus says “seek ye FIRST, the Kingdom of God…and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Christians are meant to be active in the earth and therefore God has allowed us dual kingdom-ship to live our lives, to have these things added unto us, and to undertake our various duties.
In the world, not of it
1 Cor 5. 9-10 “I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.”
God understood it is pointless us being here in a dual-citizenship arrangement if we are not mixing with people who need salvation. We are citizens of God’s spiritual kingdom but we also have an earthly body. When God calls us home, our earthly body dies, and our dual-citizenship dies with it.
Trouble arises in Christians’ lives when they try to obtain tri-citizenship with God’s Kingdom, Earth’s kingdom, and Satan’s Kingdom. Earth’s kingdom is self explanatory, but with God and Satan, there is a Kingdom of Life and a Kingdom of Death, and never the twain shall meet. No diplomatic arrangements have been made, and there are no agreements in place.
Amos 3.3 “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
In Amos 3, God was chastising Israel for trying to enjoy tri-citizenship with Satan’s Kingdom, earth’s, and His.
Amos 3.2 “You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
Rom 6.13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6.16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
All people are only ever meant to have Dual Citizenship, for God or against him!
