But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Acts 20:24

In this passage, Paul was going to Jerusalem, not knowing what would befall him. What was his response to this journey into the unknown?

answer: none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself

If we could achieve these two mental shifts our spiritual lives would accelerate, as they are fundamental to the foundation of our faith, and indeed lay beside the great cornerstone upon which our faith is built, which is Jesus Christ.
