Philippians 1:6

When we feel as if we are ‘nothing’s’ in other people’s eye’s or even our own eyes, it is not the same with God. The work He is doing in us has begun, and He is well able to finish it…and wants to do just that. 

Paul here is asking us to remain confident in that very thing, so we don’t get ‘down’ on ourselves when things don’t seem to be going well for us. He is asking us to walk around in the confidence that the Lord is performing his wonders in us, and has not left us on the roadside to walk ahead with those who seem more successful.
