We develop most of our pride because we pitch ourselves against other people and what they possess. This verse is a good reminder of what God says all through his Word. If we aimed for this one thing, eventually, our lives would improve beyond measure; our capacity to love would be vast, and each of the nine fruit of the spirit would mature and be picked by God and used more by people.Â
