how does a nation become unrighteous?
unrighteousness happens over a long period of time. If we brought the level of unrighteousness that reigns Australia today, there would be a physical battle. we wouldn’t put up with it.
Like a poisonous gas quietly and slowly seeping under a door, taking all night to engulf the room, unrighteousness, permeates little by little. The Lord tells us to overcome sins and faults little by little. The example is in the book of exodus with Moses, explaining it to the children of Israel, before they crossed over into the promised land.
Unrighteousness is exactly the same in reverse.
I’m 70 in four weeks. Besides, a few body parts breaking down and my head balding there is a benefit to being older. Firstly, I have lived through many decades and seen the changes. I am now referencing. For instance, In in the early 70s, abortion was small on the scene. Today, two major parties, two minor parties and some independents won’t get elected, unless they vote for abortion. In fact, one major party and one smaller party prescribe to full-term, abortion, and yet still get voted for.
what was wickedness back then, is commonplace now. If political parties don’t vote for a certain amount of wickedness, they will not be elected.
John 319 states, and this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men love darkness, rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil Haitas, the light, neither come up to the light, lest their deeds should be reproved.
This is the state of some of our politicians. They not only follow wickedness, but they enjoy it, and they want to legislate more of it..
In the old Testament, in the books of kings, after Solomon finished his reign, Israel split into two nations-Israel and Judah.
Each have their own kids kings. The northern kingdom of Israel had no king worthy of any mention, such was their wickedness. Judah had a number of righteous kings, but IThe northern kingdom of Israel had no king worthy of any mention, such was there wickedness. Judah had a number of righteous kings, but a greater number were unrighteous.
when king Hezekiah reigned, he called a holy convocation to bring Judah and Israel back together in the spirit. Many people laughed at him and did not turn up. Such was the depth of their wickedness and appreciation for it.
by the time Josiah reigned in Judah, the wickedness there was so great that the book of the law, which every King was meant to write out to keep him on track, had been lost, in fact, Josiah wasn’t aware there was such a book, until one of his people found it in the unused temple when I were cleaning it out.
The human body and mind love unrighteousness, and the heart is drawn to wickedness. This is why every human being needs boundaries for the heart for the mind and for the body. God gives us those boundaries, but those who don’t want boundaries need to remove the God who give them. Hence we have seen politicians removing the Bible from schools so they can freely indoctrinate our children toward wickedness, which includes evolution. We also see them trying to remove it from our Parliaments. The only reason for this is that they can legislate wickedness without conscience, as Jesus said above. The average Australian would be astounded at the amount of evil legislation that gets passed at Parliamentary sitting times.
When the kings reigned, the people head little say. We have a supposed democracy, and yet we seem to have little say.
